1.As you can see in picture I have put a plank along the deck line this is called the shear plank. This is a very important one to be fitted a plenty of time and patience should be taken. Shear is the curve from bow to stern. To much shear and the boat lookss like a banana but not enough shear and the boat looks real flat.
2. Picture show the planking up to the deck level.
3. Once the shear plank is fitted and the sides planked up to it the deck can be adjusted so that it is flush with the shear plank
